Register for one of the online information sessions to be eligible to obtain a seal hunting permit.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Before obtaining your seal hunting licence, you must absolutely attend an information session on the three-stage cull offered by an instructor certified by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO).<\/p>

Fishery officers are all certified instructors, but they only give this information session in very rare cases.<\/p>

Having followed the steps indicated in the Regional Policy for the Recognition of Trainers Authorized to Offer Training on the Humane Culling (Three-Stage Method) of Seals, the director of the ACPIQ is one of the rare instructors (outside DFO) who can offer these sessions, which are offered online at a cost of $80 per person.<\/p>

N.B.: the times given are those of the Maritimes.<\/strong><\/p>
