Before obtaining your seal hunting licence, you must absolutely attend an information session on the three-stage cull offered by an instructor certified by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO).
Fishery officers are all certified instructors, but they only give this information session in very rare cases.
Having followed the steps indicated in the Regional Policy for the Recognition of Trainers Authorized to Offer Training on the Humane Culling (Three-Stage Method) of Seals, the director of the ACPIQ is one of the rare instructors (outside DFO) who can offer these sessions, which are offered online at a cost of $80 per person.

Once you have chosen the date that suits you, you will have to complete your registration and make the payment online. Afterwards, you will receive all the details by email.
